You may require recent MOT and other vehicle history information available in addition to a reference number from either of these documents: a recent reminder (V11) or 'last chance' warning letter from DVLA; your vehicle logbook (V5C -it must be in your name); or the green 'new keeper' slip from a logbook if you've just bought the vehicle.
